I am a bellydancer that lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I dance with NeferTem, an American Tribal Style troupe that's part of the FatChanceBellyDance family.
I also teach Tribal Fusion and American Fusion Bellydance, and contribute to the ME dance community in other ways, which include bringing you this website and sponsoring events, such as the North Valley Belly Dance Competition of Oroville, CA.

About the image above...
When I was nine years old, my mom took my sister and I to see the King Tut Exhibit at the De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park - San Francisco, CA. (THANK YOU MOM!)
Among the many wonders on display was an incredible statue of one of the four gilded goddesses (Selket, Neith, Isis and Nephtys), whose job it was to stand guard over the gilded canopic shrine of the king (containing his intestines). I was transfixed by Selket's serene and alert expression as well as her beauty.
What you see above is a closeup of Selket in all her wooden, peeling, golden glory.
So what does this have to do with me? This story will continue in my bio on the new website.
